Team Building Days in the Southern Negev
The Southern Negev is the ultimate setting to take your team on a special adventure and recharge them with new energy. Whether it is an experiential day involving physical activities and collaboration, or simply time to rest and bond—the desert offers the perfect blend of breathtaking landscapes, silence, and attractions to suit any team.
The desert atmosphere provides a rare opportunity to pause the daily office routine and create deeper connections between team members. Throughout the day, you can enjoy bonding activities such as Jeep tours, field meals, interactive workshops, and, of course, stargazing in the International Dark Sky Park of Ramon Crater.
The unique advantage of the south lies in its open spaces and the profound silence that connects people to one another and to the moment. Here, far from the city bustle, it is easier to listen, share, and truly feel part of a cohesive group. Whether you are looking for a fun day out, a strategic retreat, or inspirational workshops, a team-building day in the south is an experience that not only brings people closer—it strengthens the bonds that drive your team’s success.
The Basic Experience Includes
The Camp: A comfortable desert camp set up in the heart of the crater, featuring mats, mattresses, a warm campfire (seasonally), tea, coffee, and light refreshments. (Additional camp upgrades are available upon request).
The Activity: The evening is divided into two main stages:
Stage 1: Naked-Eye Observation & The Philosophy of Science While our eyes adjust to the darkness, we will lie back on mats and gaze at the dome of the sky. The guide will use a laser pointer to trace the constellations, sharing fascinating stories from mythology, history, and science. As part of the experience, our guidance dives deep into what we call the “Philosophy of Science”: exploring not just what stars are, but how they are born, their life cycles, and our personal connection to this infinite story as stardust.
Stage 2: Deep Space Telescope Observation Once the sky reveals its millions of stars, we move to the telescopes. The guide will aim the lens at selected deep-space objects and provide in-depth explanations. The objects vary depending on the night and field conditions, but typically include:
The Moon’s craters
Planets
Star clusters
Magical nebulae
Multiple star systems
Distant galaxies and the Milky Way
And sometimes—meteor showers (“Shooting Stars”).
Every evening is a unique journey into the wonders of the universe, inviting you to see the world from a completely different perspective.
Upgrades
We invite and highly recommend deepening and enriching the basic experience by choosing one or more of our upgrade options. Each experience is custom-tailored to your organization’s needs.
Options:
Field Meals: Slow-cooked stews (“Poike”), gourmet picnic baskets, or a full private chef dinner.
Chai Shop: Hot authentic Chai or pampering Sahlab.
Alcohol Bar: Fine wines and boutique beers from local Negev producers.
Light & Sound Circus: A spectacular audio-visual circus performance.
Live Music: Acoustic performances by talented local musicians.
