Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: May 6, 2024
At Final Frontier Astronomy, we are committed to providing an accessible website for everyone. We work diligently to ensure our digital services are accessible to people with disabilities, promoting equal rights, independence, and transparency.
What is an Accessible Website?
An accessible website allows people with disabilities and older adults to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as all other users. Our site is built to be compatible with assistive technologies and various browsing tools.
Compliance Status
This website complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. It adheres to the Israeli Standard 5568 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA.
Accessibility Adjustments Made
Keyboard Navigation: The site supports navigation using the keyboard (Tab, Shift+Tab to move between elements, Enter to select, and Esc to exit menus/windows).
Visual Aids: We have ensured clear contrast and support for font resizing.
Assistive Technology: The site is optimized for screen readers (such as NVDA) and works well with common browsers like Google Chrome.
Structure: Proper use of headings (H1, H2, etc.) to allow easy navigation for screen readers.
Browser Compatibility
We strive to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies. The site has been tested and optimized mainly for the Chrome browser but supports all major modern browsers.
Feedback and Contact
Despite our best efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. If you have encountered an accessibility issue, or if you need assistance with any part of our site, please contact our Accessibility Coordinator, and we will do our best to resolve it promptly.
